Central Registrations search facility has access to around 10
million registration numbers, available and ready to transfer to
your vehicle.
We assign names
to many hundreds of our registration numbers where we think a registration
looks like a name - such as being able to use a 6 to represent a
letter C or even a 6 to represent a letter A- for example A 600PER
could be A COOPER, or T6NYA could be TANYA. We might also assign
names like JAGUAR where the letters are Jaguar based like XJS. See
our namefinder facility
We sell numbers
on behalf of our clients from all across the country, and also have
a large selection of our own stock items. These numbers have previously
been issued to vehicles and therefore is subject to the client still
having the number available at the point of purchase. They may not
have advised us that they have sold the number earlier that week,
or that they have withdrawn the number from sale recently. We do
endeavour to check as many numbers for current availability as we
can and we will always try to offer similar numbers to you should
your wanted number not now be available. We also sell numbers directly
via the DVLA. These are unissued numbers that have never been on
a vehicle and therefore tend to be a less expensive option than
some numbers that are much older.
A20 ABC
will be much cheaper than the date-less version of
20 ABC
for example because older style numbers
are rarer and therefore attract higher prices
M3 BMW or other similar numbers that directly
represent a person or an object attract the same kind of prices
as the higher priced dateless number because they too are sought
after.
.
Unissued DVLA numbers should always be available unless they have
been purchased recently.
